To our family of patients at the Dermatology Center of Dallas we want you to know we are still here to serve your Dermatology needs during this time of crisis. We will be open in the morning hours to see those patients with skin problems that can only be addressed in an office setting. We will also be able to schedule TeleHealth appointments directly with your own physician to meet the medical issues that can be handled without a face- to- face interaction.
For those patients who are being seen in the office we are asking screening questions at the time they make their appointment,, as well as when they arrive for their visit. We are rescheduling appointments if there appears to be a risk of exposure or infection.
We are sanitizing the waiting area and, all contact surfaces, and exam rooms multiple times daily and exam rooms between patients. In addition, there are other measures now implemented to help promote the CDC’s social distancing request. Patients will be quickly taken to private exam rooms and we ask that, only if necessary, should another individual accompany a patient to their appointment.
Our building is separate from the hospital without any means of entrance directly from it.
Our staff continually monitors themselves regarding their own health and there no staff member has been no one with had any signs or symptoms of Covid 19. In addition, no one in our team has travelled to any high-risk area in the last several months.
For those patients who do not need to be seen in the office for a dermatologic condition, we are now offering TeleHealth. You can call the office during the week between 8:00am andto 3:00pm to schedule an appointment with any one of our doctors . An appointment time will be set, and payment arrangements discussed. In many cases we are able make a diagnosis and prescribe medications if needed throughu this method.
