Peter D. Hino, M.D.

Dr. Peter D. Hino grew up in a military family, having moved and lived in many places prior to his family settling down in Albuquerque New Mexico where he graduated from the University of New Mexico. He attended medical school at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. He spent his internship in Internal Medicine at Texas Tech and then a residency in Dermatology at the University of Oklahoma where he was chief resident during his final year of training.

Dr Hino joined the Dermatology Center of Dallas in 1989. He served as the Chief of Dermatology for Texas Health Resources – Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas from 2001-2011. In addition to his busy practice he has taught Internal Medicine residents at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and students and residents from the local university where he has a volunteer faculty appointment. Dr Hino is also a consultant and clinical investigator for cosmetic and pharmaceutical companies, where he focuses on innovative therapies for acne, skin care products and sun protection. Dr Hino has been voted one of D-Magazine’s best doctors in Dallas consistently from 2001-2018. He has been a speaker for community organizations and health interest groups.
Dr Hino’s clinical interests include acne, cutaneous malignancies and antiaging treatments. He excels in cosmetic treatments with a special emphasis on fillers and Botox. Dr Hino is trained in Botox, learning from the original investigators in 1996, as well as Juvederm, Voluma, Volbella, Vollure and Restylane.
He spends his off time involved with his family which aside from a loving wife includes two children and a rambunctious dog. He loves spending time in east Texas, yard work and travel.
Jeri Beth “J.B.” Foshee, M.D.

Dr. Jeri Beth “JB” Foshee graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Health Sciences before pursuing her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. She completed her intern year and her residency at the University of Oklahoma. After spending 13 years of higher education at OU she prides herself on being a “Super Sooner.” In 2009 Dr. Foshee joined the Dermatology Center of Dallas where she practices medical and cosmetic dermatology. In 2011 she was named one of the best dermatologists in Dallas by the Dallas Voice, and has been honored to make the Best Doctor in Dallas list two years in a row with D Magazine. Outside of her practice she volunteers as a city square physician, at a free clinic near Fair Park. She also sits on the board of the Haiti Partnership with her church Highland Park United Methodist, she goes annually to serve in a clinic in a small town outside of Port Au Prince. When not working JB can usually be found at a OU Football game in the fall, snow skiing in the mountains during the winter, or riding her bike around White Rock lake here in Dallas.
Dr. Foshee’s special clinical interests include: psoriasis, eczema, infectious disease, and autoimmune diseases. She is also trained in cosmetic dermatology including Botox®, Juvederm®, Volbella®, Voluma®, and Restalyne®.
Era Caterina Murzaku, M.D.
Dr. Era Caterina Murzaku graduated as valedictorian with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Seton Hall University in New Jersey. She then went on to Rutgers University Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where she earned scholarships for academic achievement and graduated at the top of her class. During medical school, she performed research in melanoma at New York University and gained expertise in dermoscopy, a non-invasive imaging technique used to detect early skin cancers. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia and then moved to Dallas for her residency in Dermatology at UT Southwestern. During her final year at UT Southwestern, she served as Chief Resident at Parkland Hospital and at the Dallas Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Murzaku has published numerous studies in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Journal of the National Cancer Institute, and the American Journal of Public Health. Her work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and the Dermatology Times. Her clinical interests include skin cancer, general medical dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology, including Botox and dermal fillers. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, travel, history, fashion, spin class, and taking part in Dallas’ performing arts scene. Dr. Murzaku is extremely excited to be part of Dermatology Center of Dallas and looks forward to taking care of you and your entire family in the years to come!
Candace Fortson, LCA, Certified Aesthetic Consultant
Candace Fortson is a medical esthetic specialist licensed in the State of Texas. She has over 20 years’ experience in clinical skincare and is an advanced laser technician certified in a full range of regenerative procedures and skin care treatments. Candace joined the Dermatology Center of Dallas in 1991 and currently operates one of the largest clinical aesthetic practices in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Her areas of expertise are non-surgical cosmetic procedures to tighten and lift skin, pigmentation and acne problems, sun damaged skin, skin rejuvenation therapy and procedures to minimize fine lines and wrinkles. Candace is highly skilled at working hand-in-hand with the Dermatologists to meet our patient’s needs. Together, the clinical staff will assess specific skin care problems and combine medicine and esthetics to meet the special needs of our patients and clients. We are continually expanding and exploring every new industry breakthrough to enable us to offer the latest in technology and skin care to our patients.
